One of a litter of five newborn puppies who were rescued along with their mother in the large market in Chimaltenango, Albert has been lovingly raised alongside his siblings and mama. His mama is a wonderful dam, and the puppies are gorgeous, healthy, shiny and friendly.

These pups have been carefully socialized with lots and lots of people, kids, and other dogs and puppies. They grew up well balanced, happy and very pretty puppies.

Albert is now almost 5 months old and is currently in a wonderful foster home in the Bay Area. He is a generally friendly, very sweet puppy but can be somewhat fearful of some people when he first meets them. He loves women and children, but some men seem to frighten him. We have a trainer working with him on this, and he is doing very well. We think Albert would do best in a home with another, calm dog to lead the way, and in a suburban or more rural setting where there is less traffic and bustle. He is a high-energy guy and loves his outdoor walks and runs, so an active adopter who loves to be outdoors would be ideal for him.

Albert is very ready for the right home to adopt him. He is neutered, has had all his puppy shots, and is good with other dogs and puppies.
