Tux

Tux was born in July, 2017. He was rescued along with his mother and 5 siblings when he was just a month old.  His pre-adoption name was Seyit. He was adopted in the Bay Area when he was a puppy, and his family recently returned him to us after the birth of a third child as they don’t have time to spend with him.

Tux is a gentle, somewhat reserved dog. He bonds very quickly with his caretakers and is very loyal and attentive to his humans. He likes to stay close beside you, but is not demanding of physical affection.

He loves to go for long walks and enjoys dog parks and interaction with other dogs. He could live with another dog, but is fine as an only dog, too.

Tux is a mid-sized dog, weighing just under 60 lbs. He has a short, sleek coat that is easy to groom. We aren’t sure of his breed mix, but his mother and all his siblings have really lovely calm temperaments.

Tux is very well behaved in the home; easy going and not destructive. He is fully house trained and up to date on his shots.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
