Cora

Cora was rescued from the street at about 4 months of age in San Juan del Obispo. She was doing pretty poorly, but after a couple of months of love and good care she has not only recovered, but blossomed.

This beautiful young Shepherd-mix looking dog is super sweet, very affectionate and people-friendly. She is sweet, easy-going and not spooky. She also loves other dogs, and plays very well with them. She is very connected to humans and checks in  frequently in true Shepherd fashion.

We think Cora would do best in a home with a second dog to keep her company.S he does great walking on leash and stays close and doesn’t stray far from you when off leash. She is smart as a whip and learning all her basic behaviors really quickly.

Cora is still growing but we don’t think she will get too much bigger. She weighs about 35 lbs now. She has a sleek, shiny coat with a bit of a cowlick on the back of her neck. Her right ear was cut which makes us very sad, but we think she is still stunningly beautiful.

Cora is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and has been treated for all internal and external parasites. She is healthy and ready for a home of her own.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
