Kala

Kali is a stunning light tan brindle. She is most likely part shepherd-the other part is anyone’s guess. She was picked up in front of the Puppy Palace in Antigua on March 13, 2012, nursing pups somewhere, and very bony and malnourished. She followed Terry inside for food.

She is young-somewhere between one and a half and two years of age. She is very sweet, quiet, and gentle.  We never found her pups. She settled in quickly and put on weight.

When we moved the dogs from our downtown location to the mountain, Kala came along. Once she was spayed and trained, we sent her to San Francisco along with Chance and Chula in adoption.

She was adopted by a wonderful family and is living happily ever after with them and a dog friend.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
