Blossom and her sister Cashew are the most recent litter from the aged feral female we cannot trap in the nearby town of San juan Gascón. Although we have tried repeatedly to catch this wily mama dog, we cannot even get close to her. A kind family feeds her, and notifies us when she has a litter and catch the pups for us before they grow up wild like their mother.
These two were born around the beginning of May, and the family caught them near the beginning of June. They were in extremely bad condition, heavily infested with fleas, internal parasites, and sarcoptic mange and a severe skin infection. They were underweight and very, very weak.
With treatment and good care, Blossom is living up to her name and blossoming. Her hair has almost grown in, and she is now a beautiful puppy. She is becoming more playful and getting stronger day by day. She has an extremely soft, sweet disposition and is bold and friendly with people and with other dogs.
She is being fostered in a great family, and is being clicker trained and doing very well in her training. She sleeps the night through in her crate, is working on her house training and rides happily in the car.
She is now spayed, and is available for adoption. She is a wonderful, sweet, child friendly puppy.
