Brandy is a little Cocker Spaniel type dog we found sick, matted, thin and very dirty wandering in the middle of a busy road above Antigua. Although close to ‘pure-bred’ by local standards, she was in very poor condition. No one ever posted or reached out looking for her.

Once recuperated, we took her to be spayed, only to find that she had already been spayed. So she was someone’s dog, possibly stolen and sold.

Brandy is about a year old. She is sweet, playful, very affectionate and cuddly. She gets on well with all the dogs at the rescue, and with all the other dogs she’s met.

She has basic behaviors and walks well both on and off leash. She’s great in the car, and happy to go wherever you go. She is fully vaccinated, has been treated for internal and external parasites, and is ready for adoption to a lucky person or family.

Due to the Covid situation, Brandy is available for adoption only locally within Guatemala.
