Connie

Connie was picked up in heat by a good samartian who managed to get her away from a pack of male dogs. She was thin, dirty, and very, very hand shy. Dr. Calderon spayed her and kept her at his clinic for two months until we had space to take her. After her spay, she developed TVT (Transmissable Venereal Tumor), which is completely curable with a series of I/V chemotherapy treatments.Connie is now completely healed and this tumor will not recur.

She is a about a year and a half to two years old, and appears to be a Golden Retriever crossed with something smaller. Connie is a delight in every way. She is sweet, affectionate, and loves everyone, canine, feline, and human. She is playful, obedient, and has a great sense of humor.

Connie is being trained in her basic behaviors and is doing well. She is food motivated and really wants to please you. She is a shelter favorite with everyone who meets her.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
