Little Foxy was rescued in June by friends Tessa and Gerson. She was shy, thin, and very scared of people. They lovingly fostered her for several months until we could find room for her. Foxy arrived with us in mid January with Jim and John.
She is a sweet, beautiful Miniature Pincher cross. We think she is between a year and a year and a half old. She is a great size, weighing in at about 22 lbs. She is small yet strong and fit and up for any walk or run you would like to offer; a perfect combination of small dog size with big dog attitude! She plays well with the other dogs, although she can get a little jealous of your attention when there are multiple dogs around.
Foxy was very reserved and frightened of us for a few days, but has blossomed in the few weeks we have had her. She is much more trusting of us now, and approaches new people quite happily.
She is walking beautifully on a leash and is not at all leash reactive. She comes when called sits does a lured down, a hand target and is happily going in and out of her crate. She loves training and working for treats and praise. We are quite sure that she is house trained. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and ready for a great home.
Foxy is very affectionate and a great cuddler. Because she is slightly reserved and can be overwhelmed with too much loud noise or quick movements, we feel that Foxy should be adopted by adults or a family with older children, and the noise and action of younger children could startle her.
