Lava, along with her mother Asha and sisters Ceniza and Lahar managed to survive the June 3 volcano eruption that destroyed homes and killed many. She was burned and extremely malnourished and sick when we got her and her family on June 6th. She subsequently developed rickets in her front legs, but with time, good food, sunshine and lots of love she is now a healthy, happy 4 month old puppy.
She is a very happy, friendly and people-loving puppy. She is very cuddly and sweet, and easy going and calm in the house. She has all her basic obedience behaviors (taught with food rewards and positive reinforcement). She loves her crate and is well one her way to being house trained. She lives in a foster home with several other dogs and gets along well with all dogs once she has had a chance to get to know them. She can be barky and spooked by new dogs, and this is something we are working on and that will need continued work, which we are happy to support you with. Lava is spayed, up to date on her shots, and ready for a family to adopt her.
