Luna

Luna was rescued several years ago by team member Francesca. She has been in a foster home with a large group of dogs, patiently waiting her turn to come into the rescue, get trained, and find her forever home.

Luna got passed over for a long time, because of the constant, unending flow of puppies we receive. Puppies are so time sensitive, the adults always take second place in training, attention, and urgency to find homes.

Now it is finally Luna’s turn to find a real home of her own. She is a very sweet, gentle and soft female. We think she is between 5 and 6 years old.  She does well with other dogs, and warms up pretty quickly when meeting new people.

She was likely not treated well before she was rescued, and she didn’t see too many new people in her foster home. She prefers a bit of a slow approach when meeting, and warms up quickly-even quicker when treats are being tossed her way. We have been very impressed with how quickly she adapted and began to trust.

Luna is a really, really nice dog. She is healthy, chipped and fully vaccinated. She is ready for you.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
