Snickers and her siblings were born May 3, 2016. A good samaritan friend of Terry’s rescued the mother dog near term, and cared for the mother and her seven pups until they were weaned. The rescuer was able to place 4 of the puppies, and we took the remaining 3 sisters in when they were 9 weeks old.
The puppies were all in very good shape thanks to the excellent pre and postnatal care they received.
Snickers has been fostered in a couple of different homes and she love peoples in general and love kids in particular. She is being clicker trained and has learned their basic behaviours of “sit”, lured “down”, a hand target, and she walks nicely on leash. She has a good recall and is great off-leash, too. She is crate trained .
Snickers is 5 months old, and will likely be a mid-sized dog. She is up to date on her puppy vaccines and is already spayed. Snickers is slightly more shy than her sisters. She is friendly to all people and dogs, but is somewhat noise sensitive and would do best in a calm home with quieter, patient owners who will support her as her confidence grows.
She has an extremely sweet nature and does very well with children. She is ready to be adopted now!
