Mandy is one of six puppies who were rescued along with their mother from Escuintla. The mother was very ill and could not swallow any food. Rescuer Francesca took her to her veterinarian and under sedation he found that she had a splintered chicken bone caught in her throat which prevented her from swallowing. Subsequently, they discovered that she has difficulty chewing due to an old, poorly healed fractured jaw.
Despite this, she is a wonderful mother and managed to raise 6 beautiful, friendly healthy puppies. The mother is now spayed and will be adopted by a woman from her old neighborhood.
Mandy is a beautiful brindle female. She is living with a great foster family and doing very well with her training. She is not yet spayed, but will be very soon. She is ready for adoption.
