Layla

Ronaldo found Layla wandering just below El Hato on the road to the rescue on Thursday, November 26th. She was far too tiny to be out and about on her own, and in pretty awful condition. He pulled over and scooped her up.

Layla was completely infested with fleas, and her little body is covered with scabs. She is anemic and was also full of worms.
She is a spunky little lady, and after deworming, treatment for her fleas, a few good meals and a warm bath she is following us around and learning how to play with toys.
We estimate that she was about 6 weeks old on intake.

She is now about three months old, spayed and up to date on her shots.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
