Felicia is a beautiful and sweet. She is a pretty irresistible package, really. All the looks of a Golden Retriever in a smaller package with a calm and gentle personality. We adore her.
She was found in pretty ratty condition curled up on a stoop in San Juan del Obispo. She was just old enough to be coming into heat soon, and we couldn’t bear to see her being attacked by the packs that descend on the females then. Once we brought her in, we discovered that she had quite a few other things going on. She had a large umbilical hernia that needed repair, deciduous teeth that had to be pulled, floppy double dew claws that needed removal, and aural hematomas that needed treatment, too.
She is all fixed up now, and feeling much more confident after several weeks of love and care in her foster home. Felicia loves people and other dogs, but she is a more reserved pup and takes her time to approach. She plays, but gently. When the games get rough, she removes herself. She is great off leash on walks, and is walking well one leash in a front clip harness.
She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and now healthy and all healed from her procedures.
