Eileen (I-lean….) was brought to us on a Sunday by a former volunteer. She was extremely thin, and carried her head with a pronounced tilt to the right. She also walked slightly askew. She was checked over and the vet believes that she has suffered a severe blow to the head, causing some kind of neurological damage and resulting in her head tilt and slightly sideways walk.
This injury does not appear to have slowed Eileen down any. She is a zippy, frisky young thing. We believe that she is a beagle cross. Crossed with what, we have no idea. She is tiny, about 12 lbs.
Approximate age on intake-6 months. Eileen was adopted by Brett and Char, and lives in the Bay area with her human family and a dog buddy.
