Maco

Maco was running down the road near Cerro de la Cruz all by himself on Saturday, August 5th. He was all alone, and pretty small to be out without someone nearby. He ran right up to us and jumped into our arms without hesitation.

Maco was pretty wormy, and he was crawling with fleas and had some ticks on him, too. He was filthy and hungry. We got him cleaned up, treated him for parasites, and filled up his little tummy.

This puppy is so sweet it is hard to describe. He is connected, very smart, and extremely well behaved. His foster mom reports that he seems to be completely house trained, which is pretty unusual in a puppy that isn’t even three months old! He is sleeping through the night in his crate, too!

Maco is already neutered, and has his first puppy shots. He gets along great with other dogs, puppies, and the cats in his foster home. He likes kids, and loves people in general. He is going to make some lucky family very, very happy!

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
