Risa was brought to volunteer and foster mom Carin Steen by a neighbourhood boy who knows she loves animals. The puppy was dumped in a field by someone passing by on a bicycle.
Risa was about 3 months old on intake, mid November. She is a pretty tan shorthaired pup with white markings and a black mask. She is friendly, outgoing, and loves people and dogs.
She developed a severe intestinal infection and diarrhea about 5 days after she arrived; we suspect parvovirus. She has recovered completely and is now back to the playful, naughty puppy she was before.
Risa is friendly, outgoing, and bold. She loves everyone she meets, and is just a delightful pup.
Risa has been spayed, and is up to date on her puppy series vaccines. She is available for adoption.
