Bob and his sister Marly probably should be dead. They were tied into a sack and thrown into a river to drown. Luckily for them, a kind person spotted the moving sack and waded into the river to retrieve them. They were tiny, sick and pretty pathetic. This kind hearted samaritan found a local family to adopt the two little pups and off they went.
Unfortunately for Bob and Marly, the family who adopted them was not too much different from the family who dumped them to drown in a river. They didn’t really bother with details like feeding the puppies and the two hungry pups allegedly killed a little chick. To punish them, the family locked them into a room and left them to starve.
Neighbors alerted us, and the pups were quickly rescued. But Bob was critically sick and almost died. He survived with several days of critical care and I/V fluids. At the grand old age of about 10 weeks, these two pups finally ended up in a home where they are properly cared for, loved, fed and trained and socialized.
Bob is a darling pup, who is one of the sweetest cuddle bugs we’ve ever met. He has a silky soft coat and ears that fairly transport him (and you!) to another dimension! He recovered beautifully and is friendly, calm and outgoing. He loves people, gets along with all the other dogs, and is smart and silly.
Bob is currently living with a wonderful foster family. He is great with their cat, their kids and their friends. He is house trained in their home and a very easy keeper.
He is 6 months old, neutered, fully vaccinated and ready for adoption. Check out Bob. We are officially smitten with this little morsel of nuggety goodness!
